It is prohibited at the show to use any means other than brushes & combs to prepare the dogs for the ring. The same applies to the keeping of a dog on a so-called gallows. The wrapping or braiding of hair is prohibited at the show. Compliance with these rules will be monitored. The inspectors are empowered to draw the exhibitor’s attention to a failure in complying with these rules. Non compliance may result in being ask to leave the show.
The compulsory rabies vaccination was abolished. Nevertheless we recommend to vaccinate your dog against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and kennel cough.

The vaccination has to be done at least 30 days before entry into the country and has to comply with the regulations of the manufacturer.
According to article 6.14 it is prohibited to exhibit dogs, which have been docked or had their ears cropped.
During the dog show the Fonds for the control of inherited eye diseases (PBVA) of the Veterinary–Surgical Clinic of the University of Z?rich are offering prophylactic eye testing.
On Sunday, May 5th 2013, entered dogs and visitors dogs can be tested for PRA, CEA and cataract. (No appointment necessary).
No dog is permitted to leave the show before 3pm!
Admission only with a valid vaccination certificate.
